Bollywood stars Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor walked down the runway on Thursday at the 2018 edition of the Mijwan Fashion Show . While the ‘quintessential symbol of elegance’, Deepika, walked in a pearlescent lehenga adorned with heritage embroidery, Ranbir exuded utmost panache in a sherwani exhibiting classic floral motifs. Organised by Shabana Azmi’s NGO, Mijwan Welfare society, this year marked the ninth edition of the walk. The veteran star said they had “really been” looking forward to have Ranbir and Deepika for so many years. Post the walk, the Barfi star said it is always wonderful to walk for Manish Malhotra and to walk with Deepika. Actor Salman Khan was granted bail by a district and sessions court in Jodhpur on Saturday in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in which he was sentenced to five years in jail on Thursday. After spending two nights in Jodhpur Central Jail, he left after completing all legal formalities and headed back to Mumbai in a chartered flight. He cannot leave the country without the court’s permission. The District and Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi after hearing the arguments of prosecution and defence lawyers, pronounced the order at around 3:00pm. The discussion lasted for about an hour. “Arguments were already over in the morning but Judge Joshi reserved the order for post lunch. He has to produce personal bail bond worth Rs50,000 and produce a Rs25000 surety from two persons each who shall guarantee that he will agree to all bail conditions,” said a defence counsel. Reliance Jio  has launched a new Rs. 251 recharge pack that offers a total of 102GB of data and comes with a validity of 51 days. The telco is targeting fans of IPL 2018 with this data pack, saying you can "stream almost every live match throughout the duration of 51 days" of the IPL, which begins on March 7, Saturday and will end on May 27. Notably, the pack has a daily data limit of 2GB, and like with other daily data plans, unused data will expire at midnight. As mentioned earlier, the Rs. 251 plan comes with 102GB of data on the Reliance Jio network, which means a per GB cost of less than Rs. 2.50, making it one of the more attractive options for heavy 4G data users. Note that while Jio is promoting the 251 pack for IPL 2018 viewers, it's not in any way tied to cricket or video streaming, and can be used for any purpose.

Friday was a day of visitors for actor Salman Khan, who spent his first morning in jail after being convicted in a 20-year-old blackbuck poaching case. The first one was Preity Zinta, Salman’s co-star in seven films between 2000 and 2013. She met the actor for 20 minutes. Actress Preity Zinta at Jodhpur Central Jail on Friday to meet Salman Khan. Next up were Salman’s sisters, Alvira and Arpita, who had been with him on Thursday when the Jodhpur court announced the verdict. The two spent around 25 minutes with him. Superintendent of Jodhpur Central Jail Vikram Singh said usually prisoners are allowed visitors only after 15 days but in some circumstances, meetings are allowed before that time. A Jodhpur court on Thursday sentenced  Salman Khan  to 5 year prison term in the 1998 blackbuck killing case. The actor has also been fined a penalty for Rs 10,000. He is being taken to  Jodhpur Central Jail , where he has to spend the night. His bail plea hearing is scheduled for Friday morning. The actor is likely to appeal against the verdict in the Rajasthan High Court. Salman had earlier spent a total of 18 days in the Jodhpur jail in 1998, 2006 and 2007, all for cases of poaching. The 'Dabangg' star had a total of four cases against him related to the 1998 poaching incident. Three of these cases were to do with violations of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, while the fourth case, in which he was acquitted last year, was for an Arms Act violation.
