Baaghi 2 beats Baahubali 2:The Conclusion and Tiger Zinda Hai at the box office; creates an all time record

It was expected that Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2 will make big bucks at the box office but what happened on the day of its release was beyond anyone's...okay most of the trade analalysts and movie watching audience's imagination. The comfortably took on the might of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat and turned out to be the biggest opener of 2018 and one of the biggest openers of all time. Tiger Shroff became the only young star to have an opening day of Rs 25 crore plus leaving behind stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Ranveer Singh and even a superstar like Akshay Kumar.

But the film has also done something unimaginable with its opening day numbers. It has comfortably beaten Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai and biggest Indian blockbuster SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. The film had taken a phenomenal start at the box office on its opening day but in Bihar it was another level. The opening day numbers of Baaghi 2 in Bihar is even bigger than Tiger Zinda Hai and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

According a report in Box Office India, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion had a record breaking day at the box office in Bihar and had collected Rs 1.08 crore on its opening day. As far as Bollywood films were concerned it was Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai that held the record making Rs 1.01 crore. However, Baaghi 2 went past both the films by collecting an earth shattering Rs 1.28 crore. And creating a all time record in the process.

By creating this all time record, Baaghi 2 proved that the records created by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion are not beyond the reach.

Baaghi 2 has so far collected Rs 45.50 crore in just two days of its release.
