Family Time with Kapil Sharma to reportedly go off-air, week after comedian made TV comeback

Indian TV's most successful comedian-actor Kapil Sharma made his comeback a week ago with his show Family Time with Kapil Sharma on Sony Entertainment Television. The show was quite important for the actor as he returned to TV six months after The Kapil Sharma Show went off air owing to dropping TRPs and Sharma's deteriorating health.

Now, there are reports that the new show Family Time...is also heading for a close as the show has reportedly not been able to garner audience attention since the time it went on air on 25 March.


According to a report by India Today, the show has been embroiled in issues from the start. The audience's negative feedback regarding the show's current format, has left Sharma dejected. He had reportedly invested a lot of time and creative inputs in putting up this show.

Moreover, as many as four out of six shoot schedules of the show have been cancelled so far. The last-minute cancellations have resulted in huge losses to the channel.

Sharma reportedly hasn't been answering calls or responding to media queries, adds the India Today report.
